CLIE has taken the following initiatives:

• 2015 CLIE launched a campaign for collaboration between English and Foreign-language teachers.
• 2009 CLIE launched the UK Linguistics Olympiad committee as a sub-committee of CLIE
• A-level in Linguistics

For a number of years CLIE has been SY0-201 interested in developing an A-level in Linguistics. This was shelved in 2009 to concentrate on the development of the UK Linguistics Olympiad. Given UKLO’s success and the positive feedback received, the idea of an A-level in Linguistics has re-emerged. The following are some papers relevant to the idea of developing a new A-level.
